Your entry will be checked and vetted to ensure your nomination qualifies for the selected category(s).
Successful applicants will be notified.
Nominees will be published when voting opens and Nominees may announce their nomination(s) and begin any marketing campaigns.

Criteria

Eligibility: Nominee must meet the eligibility criteria established Ghana Tertiary Awards. This include educational background, professional experience, or any other specific requirements outlined by the award scheme.
Positive Impact: The nominee should have made a positive impact on their community, field of study, industry, or society as a whole. This impact could be in the form of innovative contributions, social change initiatives, philanthropic efforts, leadership roles, or any other actions that have brought about positive change or advancement.
Excellence: The nominee should demonstrate a high level of excellence in their work or endeavors. This can be reflected in their achievements, performance, skills, expertise, or any other factors that showcase their exceptional abilities or contributions.
Public Support and Recognition: The public nominee should have a significant level of support and recognition from their peers, colleagues, or the general public. This can be demonstrated through endorsements, testimonials, recommendations, public polls, or any other forms of public acknowledgment that reflect the impact and value of their work.
Influence and Inspiration: The nominee should have the ability to inspire and influence others positively. They should serve as a role model for aspiring individuals in their field or industry, motivating them to achieve excellence and make a difference.

Category Definitions

GTA STUDENT OF THE YEAR: The GTA Student of the Year Award recognizes outstanding achievements and overall excellence in academic, extracurricular, and personal development by a student within a specific institution or educational setting. This award celebrates the exceptional qualities and contributions of a student who has demonstrated exemplary dedication, leadership, and a commitment to excellence throughout their academic journey.
BEST STUDENT ACTIVIST: The Best Student Activist Award recognizes a student who has demonstrated outstanding commitment, leadership, and impact in advocating for social justice, equality, and positive change within their school, community, or society at large.
